Samsung GX-1L

Samsung GX-1L

Price (MSRP): $599.99
Megapixel: 6.1
TYPE: Digital SLR

Even lighter and more compact than the similar Samsung GX-1S, this consumer digital SLR also offers a slightly less advanced set of features to amateur photographers. Although it uses a pentamirror instead of the more expensive pentaprism in the GX-1S, the 1L's viewfinder is brighter and offers the same high magnification and accuracy. In addition to standard manual and automatic exposure modes, the GX-1L offers a modest selection of programmed automatic scene modes and a setting that automatically selects an appropriate scene mode. Among this camera’s notable features are depth-of-field previewing, continuous autofocus, spot metering, a bulb mode, an auto ISO mode, on-camera help features, 2.8 fps continuous shooting, and 18 custom functions.
