Mentor Series - Worldwide Photo Treks!

Alabama | 2005

"Hello to all from Skip!

Anyhow i cant tell you how much i loved meeting so many people of great quality and eagerness over photography and expressing themselves through this medium in my state of alabama..it was great watching everyones work in the final slide show twas a bit emotional..and what about rob wow where does he get all that patience its exciting to have a mentor such as him and even some of you who share ideas and thoughts..The greatest thing we could give back to him is utilizing the thoughts and ideas he offered and not allowing ourselves to be accepting of the automatic controls of our camera and just as we were all true to our passion this weekend continue it in our own communities. The first night when rob was speaking he said something to the effect when your driving around and see something to stop the car..we all laughed because we can relate but is is so true to listen to this because we are special people and god has truly blessed our hearts with a feeling to convey to capture to share and to preserve. In my travels out of the country its my time to go into the unknown and be guided by this grace and allow it to flow freely..when i return home a month or so later i am in awe at the photos and the way i was seeing and feeling for what i saw just as a writer in a fluid stream of writing that wakes from his state to review and is wowed..

Travel with our mentors and try out all of the latest equipment from Nikon! Including world class digital SLRs, Nikkor lenses and the Coolpix line of Digital Cameras.

It was awesome seeing husbands and wife's fathers and sons learning together as well. The faces on those we met with our arrivals awed by our energy and excitement and a few by the size of our lens.  I am sending small file photos behind this e-mail that reflect this weekend...see ya soon some sooner you know who you are.."

Thank You,
