Mentor Series - Worldwide Photo Treks!

Virginia | 2005

A bus load of photographers entered a time warp in early October 2005 - but with digital cameras in hand.

Lead by the energy filled Reed Hoffmann we asked lots of questions and got helpful answers.  He was most helpfully in getting that perfect shot - all the while teaching that we all need to wait and wait - until that perfect time to shoot.

We stepped back 300 years into history filled Williamsburg and Jamestown complete with guides dressed in period costume, explaining their duties as early settlers.   Our photos showed the old and new generations.

Rain - what rain we didn't notice until our lenses fogged over.  Rain gear was needed, but did not dampen our sprits.

The Mentor Series was most helpful in keeping us on a time table and helped keep our sprits up even if we were wet and soggy. All the members of this trek were interesting to meet with and I hope to see some of them again on a future trip.

Travel with our mentors and try out all of the latest equipment from Nikon! Including world class digital SLRs, Nikkor lenses and the Coolpix line of Digital Cameras.
