User Review: Canon EOS 30D
Dendy, a pro photographer, writes us all the way from Bandung, Indonesia to review the Canon EOS 30D. Nearly giving the camera 10s across the board, Dendy writes:
"I bought it for $1,050 and it gave me everything I expected from it. Get a good lens and it's all there to exploit."

A polarizing filter improves color images three ways. It removes surface glare from shiny objects, thereby allowing the true color of leaves and other reflective things to be seen. It darkens blue skies a controllable amount without changing any other colors. And for fishermen, it allows the camera to peek below the surface of still water.
