Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM (User Review)

A Reader from Cuernavaca reviews the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM:

What's Hot: Amazing lens, great at 1.4, even better when you stop down a little bit.

What's Not: Price perhaps, you pay dearly for that stop from the 35 f/2 (which is a good lens in it's own right) to the amazing f/1.4

If you can make intentional double exposures with your film (or digital) camera, try this. Attach the lens shade from your 50mm lens on your 24mm (or 28mm) wide angle. Take the first shot. Remove the shade and make the second exposure. The shade acts as a mask and confines the area of double exposure to the center. The area around the center will contain only the subject matter that was shot without the lens shade.
