10 Years of the Canon ELPH

Canon celebrated the 10th anniversary of its ELPH brand of digital compacts earlier this week with a special event in New York, offering the perfect excuse to take a look at how this particular line of cameras has evolved over the last decade.

Canon boasts sales of more than 33 million ELPH cameras since 1996, when the inaugural (film!) model was first introduced. Our photo gallery includes some of the top-selling ELPH models to come out in the past ten years, including the latest incarnation, the limited edition PowerShot SD900 gift set co-produced with luxury designer Coach.
