Fuji Adds Finepix J150w Camera

Fujifilm has added a new model to its Finepix J series of inexpensive pocket cameras. The J150w offers 10-megapixel resolution; an f/3.3-5.1, 28mm-140mm (35mm equivalent) 5x zoom lens; and a 230,000-dot, 3-inch LCD. Designed for automatic snapshot photography, the camera provides 13 scene modes, face detection, automatic redeye removal, and smooth VGA video capture. Its light-sensitivity settings run up to ISO 1600 or ISO 3200 at a reduced 3-megapixel resolution, and its shutter-speed range goes from 1/2000 to 8 seconds.

The J150w will be available for $199.95, with brushed silver and matte black finishes, in September 2008.
