Sandisk launches big, fast, SDHC cards in conjunction with Nikon D90

The cards are available in sizes from 4 to 16 Gigabytes with transfer speeds up to 30MB/s.

Sandisk has announced new Extreme III SDHC cards with speeds up to 30MB/s with 4, 8 and 16 gigabyte sizes available.  These new cards should offer longer sustained burst rates on the just-announced Nikon D90, according to internal Sandisk testing.

SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 30MB/s Edition cards should ship in September. SRP is $64.99 for the 4GB card, $109.99 for the 8GB card, and $179.99 for the 16GB card.
