Panasonic to acquire Sanyo?

If Panasonic absorbs Sanyo it would become Japan's largest electronics company.

JCNNetwork (Japancorp.net) is reporting that "major electric appliance maker" Panasonic is looking to gobble up Sanyo. If the deal goes through, it would make Panasonic Japan's biggest electronics company. Stay tuned for more info.
