What's Hot: 10 Megapixels, Feels just like a film SLR, RAW Capture, Great Software package
What's Not: Slow AF in Low Light, Hard to See Viewfinder, Controls could be simplified

Review: Overall this has been a great entry-level DSLR camera. It takes great photos in the right conditions. Its weakness in in lower light conditions. The AF response is slow and can sometimes not lock at all. It is difficult to see through the viewfinder, so manual focus is also hard in low light. The best thing has been the ease at which I can shoot my subjects and instantly start editing the photos on the computer. Canon has a great software package that allows you to download and organize your shots. It comes with a RAW file edit and converter program. Also included is a Photo Stitch program for assembling panoramas.
